Since 2006 ShortStayApartment.com has been an independent website. It is owned and operated by an English web designer and an Italian translator. Both are expatriates, based in Barcelona, who enjoy travelling and experiencing local cultures.
The idea of setting up a website dedicated to listing stylish city-break apartments was born from the association of personal background and taste. The interest in interior design sparked the idea of highlighting how travellers can combine an authentic local experience of a city while enjoying stylish living.This is why, in 2006, the founders decided that it could be useful to create a visual collection of luxury and character apartments, all managed by agencies and professionals in the greatest capital cities.
Each year they discover more stylish apartments and show them on this website to help people who care about decoration, love culture and enjoy travelling to discover the pleasure of staying in a special apartment during a city break or a business trip.
In 2010 the ShortStayApartment.com founders continue to help you browse a selected portfolio of apartments, find those you like and contact the managers through our online form, so you receive a quote from different accommodation providers at once and can book online.
