Authentic one-bedroom 4 person apartment, central in the Jordaan area. This apartment is situated in a peaceful and quiet area of Amsterdam. However, within a 15 minutes’ walk you will find yourself at the lively Dam Square area. Canals like the Prinsengracht and the Keizersgracht, which you will cross on your way to Dam Square or the famous Flower market, will make it possible for you to enjoy the typical Amsterdam views while walking to your favourite Amsterdam destinations.
Apartment Information
The apartment
The 55 sqm. apartment can house 4 guests and is situated on the third floor. The apartment is divided over two floors connected by an internal staircase. On the first floor you will find the living room and kitchen. The bedroom and bathroom are situated on the second floor.
The living room
In the living room you will find a comfortable sofa, chairs and a flat screen television with DVD player. The large windows at the front and the kitchen windows at the back make sure you’ll get plenty of daylight while offering a nice view at the cosy street outside.
The kitchen
The apartment features an open plan kitchen with stove, a microwave/oven, a dishwasher, an elektric kettle, a coffee machine and all necessary kitchen tools to prepare all your favourite dishes.
The bedroom
The soothing bedroom offers 2 single beds, welcoming you with soft towels and soap.
The bathroom
The spacious bathroom contains a shower cabin and a bath. A separate toilet can be found in the hallway, between the bathroom and the bedroom.
Important Information
Please note that the stairs are relatively small and steep making the apartment less suitable for guests with limited mobility.
Location Information
The Jordaan is one of the most popular neighbourhoods in Amsterdam. The apartment is located just behind the famous Noordermarket where you can’t miss out on the Farmer’s market on Saturday and the famous Monday morning market for some quality vintage clothes and shoes shopping.
A number of other places of interest are also nearby: the Anne Frank house, the Nine Streets shopping district, the Westerchurch and Dam Square. Central Station is within walking distance.
Terms and Conditions
Cancellation Policy
- The pre payment is non-refundable at any time, not even in case of force majeure.
- Bookings cancelled less than 2 weeks before the start of the stay will be charged with 50% of the balance due.
- Bookings cancelled less than 24 hours before the start of the stay or cancellation without prior notice "no-show";100% of the balance due will be charged.
- Cancellations must be made by 12 midday CET (Central European Time) on the appropriate day.
The apartment provider reserves the right to cancel or alter the booking if:
- If the guest(s) are not able to pay the online payment and/or remaining balance upon arrival.
- If the guest(s) are not able to show their passport, id card or drivers license upon arrival.
- If the guest(s) are not able to provide a security deposit in form of a valid credit card.
- The apartment(s) or part of it is closed due to circumstances beyond its control.
- It prejudices the reputation or causes or might cause in the apartment providers opinion, damage to the apartments and its common areas.
- The apartment provider becomes insolvent or enters into liquidation or receivership.
The apartment provider will not be liable for any delay, loss, damage or expenses incurred if your booking needs to be altered or cancelled or the apartment provider is unable to perform the contractual obligations as a result of events beyond his reasonable control, which shall include but not be limited to events such as war, civil strife, terrorist activity, labour disputes, natural or man-made disaster, fire, flood, adverse weather conditions or change of local government laws.
In any of these circumstances the apartment provider will refund any payments made in advance, but will have no further liability to the Client.
If the apartment provider receives serious complaints or any disputes arise, he reserves the right to terminate your stay without notice and refunding payments.
Limitation of Liability
The apartment provider shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damage that may arise as a consequence of the client's use of the apartment, including without limitation, damages, insurance, losses because of fire, robbery or criminal behaviour.
Occupants
Only persons notified to the apartment provider upon arrival may occupy the apartment. You may not re-let/sublet the apartment to any other third party without our prior written approval. The number of persons permitted to occupy the apartment is limited to the number of beds available and this limit may not be exceeded without our prior written approval. The apartment provider reserves the right to refuse admittance to the apartment if this condition is not complied with.
Fair Use
You and your party agree to be considerate tenants and to take good care of the apartment(s) and to leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of your stay. Except in the case of normal wear and tear you are responsible for any damage to the apartment or its contents during your stay, which has occurred due to the negligence, wilful default or irresponsible behaviour on the part of yourself or those occupying the apartment or their guests. Any damage must be reported to the apartment provider, without delay. You and your party also agree not to act in any way that could cause disturbance to the residents in neighbouring properties.
Alcohol, Drugs & Tobacco
The use of drugs and abuse of alcohol is strictly prohibited on the premises. The use and possession of hard drugs is illegal and anyone suspected of either will be reported to the Police. In some apartments smoking inside is allowed, this is stated on the website. It is not allowed to smoke marihuana inside the apartments.
