Nieuwegrachtje A apartment is a fresh and modern one bedroom apartment, sleeping four people, in the Nieuwmarkt and Lastage area. Nieuwmarkt (New Market) and Lastage is just to the east of the city centre, providing an ideal base from which to explore Amsterdam.
Attractions such as the Science Museum, Maritime Museum, city zoo and botanical gardens are all within a ten minute walk and Central Station and Chinatown are nearby. The area is well served by bars, cafes and restaurants and the bustling Rembrandtplein is a short walk away. The location of this attractive apartment makes it ideal for either business or leisure use.

The apartment
The living area of Nieuwegrachtje A apartment is flooded with light from two large windows facing onto the tree lined street below. Modern and tasteful decor frames a relaxing sofa bed which extends the apartment's sleeping capacity to four. A flat screen television is provided for your entertainment.
The stylish kitchen area is well equipped and includes oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator and dryer. The dining area meanwhile offers a relaxed setting for four to dine in comfort. The bathroom comprises shower, toilet and washbasin and contains the washing machine. The apartment's bedroom is furnished with a double bed.
Guests are provided with towels and bed linen for their stay and broadband Internet is available via cable. Nieuwegrachtje A apartment also comes with all of those little conveniences to make your stay more comfortable, such as hair dryer, iron and ironing board; toaster, kettle and coffee machine. The bus stop is a mere five minutes walk away and connects you easily with all areas of the city and its attractions. Guests are reminded that smoking is not permitted in the apartment.
Important Information
Please note that the stairs are fairly steep making this apartment less suitable for guests with limited mobility or large suitcases.
Location Information
Nieuwegrachtje A is conveniently located in the eastern part of the city centre close to a number of Amsterdam's main attractions, including the Dutch Maritime Museum, Rembrandt House Museum, the Science Museum, the zoo and the botanical gardens. The lively Rembrandtplein, with numerous restaurants, bars and cinemas is minutes away. Access to public transport is nearby, bringing the rest of the city's pubs, restaurants, museums and shops within easy reach.
Terms and Conditions
Cancellation Policy
- The pre payment is non-refundable at any time, not even in case of force majeure.
- Bookings cancelled less than 2 weeks before the start of the stay will be charged with 50% of the balance due.
- Bookings cancelled less than 24 hours before the start of the stay or cancellation without prior notice "no-show";100% of the balance due will be charged.
- Cancellations must be made by 12 midday CET (Central European Time) on the appropriate day.
The apartment provider reserves the right to cancel or alter the booking if:
- If the guest(s) are not able to pay the online payment and/or remaining balance upon arrival.
- If the guest(s) are not able to show their passport, id card or drivers license upon arrival.
- If the guest(s) are not able to provide a security deposit in form of a valid credit card.
- The apartment(s) or part of it is closed due to circumstances beyond its control.
- It prejudices the reputation or causes or might cause in the apartment providers opinion, damage to the apartments and its common areas.
- The apartment provider becomes insolvent or enters into liquidation or receivership.
The apartment provider will not be liable for any delay, loss, damage or expenses incurred if your booking needs to be altered or cancelled or the apartment provider is unable to perform the contractual obligations as a result of events beyond his reasonable control, which shall include but not be limited to events such as war, civil strife, terrorist activity, labour disputes, natural or man-made disaster, fire, flood, adverse weather conditions or change of local government laws.
In any of these circumstances the apartment provider will refund any payments made in advance, but will have no further liability to the Client.
If the apartment provider receives serious complaints or any disputes arise, he reserves the right to terminate your stay without notice and refunding payments.
Limitation of Liability
The apartment provider shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damage that may arise as a consequence of the client's use of the apartment, including without limitation, damages, insurance, losses because of fire, robbery or criminal behaviour.
Occupants
Only persons notified to the apartment provider upon arrival may occupy the apartment. You may not re-let/sublet the apartment to any other third party without our prior written approval. The number of persons permitted to occupy the apartment is limited to the number of beds available and this limit may not be exceeded without our prior written approval. The apartment provider reserves the right to refuse admittance to the apartment if this condition is not complied with.
Fair Use
You and your party agree to be considerate tenants and to take good care of the apartment(s) and to leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of your stay. Except in the case of normal wear and tear you are responsible for any damage to the apartment or its contents during your stay, which has occurred due to the negligence, wilful default or irresponsible behaviour on the part of yourself or those occupying the apartment or their guests. Any damage must be reported to the apartment provider, without delay. You and your party also agree not to act in any way that could cause disturbance to the residents in neighbouring properties.
Alcohol, Drugs & Tobacco
The use of drugs and abuse of alcohol is strictly prohibited on the premises. The use and possession of hard drugs is illegal and anyone suspected of either will be reported to the Police. In some apartments smoking inside is allowed, this is stated on the website. It is not allowed to smoke marihuana inside the apartments.
