Naxos is the major Greek island amongst the Cyclades, in the Aegean Sea, and it combines pristine beaches with beautiful countryside. The best beaches are on the west coast, where most apartment rentals are based to offer a perfect holiday home to international tourists.
Despite mass tourism invaded Greece a long time ago, Naxos still retains its authenticity and natural beauty to explore. Thanks to its long agricultural tradition that made it self-sufficient, Naxos economy is not based on tourism; this makes it one of the preferred Greek destinations amongst those travellers that look for a peaceful environment and enjoy a relaxing holiday immersed in the Mediterranean landscape.
