The Gay Pride from Amsterdam is one of the most important gay events, with more than 100.000 participants from all the four continents. The most important part of the event is the famous Canal Parade, more than 70 boats, each decorated according to a topic, can be seen and admired for 3 hours. The well-known traditional closing party takes place on the 8th of August and it is a great opportunity to have fun and meet new people.

The Gay Pride in Amsterdam was first organized in 1995, this year the main theme is “Celebrate!” and it includes various activities, such as street parties, sporting competitions and a film festival.
