“A common heritage” is the motto of European Heritage Days (EHD), an event organized by the Council of Europe and the European Commission. The aim of this activity is to provide a wide understanding of the European culture and history.

What?

These event is also known as Doors Open Day and is organized in  all the European capitals, offering an unique experience to the tourists. During these days the entrance to museums, monuments and other sites is free. In Rome you can visit the Colosseum, the Mausoleum of Augustus, Traian’s forum and many more. Do not forget you photo camera, because you will need it.

September 25th and 26th 2010.
