Van Gogh Museum Amsterdam

Van Gogh Museum BarcelonaVan Gogh Amsterdam

The Van Gogh museum is located in the Museum Quarter along with the Rijksmuseum, although fitting both into one day would be a squeeze.  The Van Gogh museum, however, is quite small and can take upto 3 hours to take in.  The museum is split into two main areas, one which is good overview of his whole career and the "Colours of the Night" area which shows more detail and some great works (This is charged as "extra" for some reason, although without this the museum would be quite bare).  The museum hosts a large quantity of Van Gogh´s work, although not all of the masterpieces are there.

Address
The Van Gogh Museum is on Museumplein in Amsterdam, between the Rijksmuseum and the Stedelijk Museum. The museum entrance is at Paulus Potterstraat 7.
