Young designers at 080 Barcelona Fashion Show
Barcelona is commonly known for its free fashion spirit, its rebellious attitude and of course its magical views. If you are interested in fashion’s latest news and visiting Barcelona between the 26 and 29 of January we recommend you visit the Barcelona 080 Fashion Show.
Designed as a way to promote young and independent designers, the show represents an initiative from the Catalan authorities to boost the visibility and activity of the fashion sector. Already in its fifth year, the show will gather in 2010 more than 50 designers that will expose their collections for the eyes of viewers and buyers.
Besides the presentations of the collection on the catwalks, the event also awards its participants with the 080 Barcelona Fashion Prize for the Best Woman Collection and for the Best Man Collection. The winners will be chosen by an international jury and each of them will receive a prize worth 10,000 euros.
